We had a wonderful time, Asturias really exceeded our expectations. We explored the coast and were very happy that we had chosen Cue as our base - the beach there was the best one we visited, in fact we ended up there every day! The apartment was lovely, very clean and tastefully furnished, and we really liked the village location. We will definitely recommend Asturias and Blue Green Spain to friends and family, and we can't wait to go back again! J Barnes
The El Carril apartments are located in the small coastal village of Cué, a ten-minute walk from the beach.
El Carril I is an apartment within a converted village house. The apartment consists of an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. There is also a double sofa-bed in the living room if required. The living area and bedroom both open out onto a lovely, south-facing, wooden balcony - a quiet spot to sit and relax.
The property is in the centre of Cué, a small village less than two kilometres along the coast from the fishing town of Llanes. The tightly-packed village has retained much of its traditional charm and has a well-stocked shop, a bar and a restaurant. It's a short walk down to Cué beach. This rugged part of coastline has more beaches than any other part of Asturias, and from Cué there's access to some secluded coves nearby.
Cué is an excellent base for exploring and walking along the picturesque Asturian coastline and its various beaches, and for going up into the nearby mountains only a twenty-minute drive away. Llanes, with its pretty harbour, has a number of outdoor cafes and restaurants, and is a short drive, or a hearty walk, away.
