The El Carril apartments are located in the small coastal village of Cué, a ten-minute walk from the beach.
El Carril II is the top floor apartment of this converted village house. It's characterized by its sloping wooden rafters which help make this a cosy retreat after a day on the beach or up in the mountains. The apartment consists of an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, and a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. There is also a double sofa-bed in the living room, so the flat can sleep up to four people.
The property is in the centre of Cué, a small village less than two kilometres along the coast from the fishing town of Llanes. The tightly-packed village has retained much of its traditional charm and has a well-stocked shop, a bar and a restaurant. It's a short walk down to Cué beach. This rugged part of coastline has more beaches than any other part of Asturias, and from Cué there's access to some secluded coves nearby.
Cué is an excellent base for exploring and walking along the picturesque Asturian coastline and its various beaches, and for going up into the nearby mountains only a twenty-minute drive away. Llanes, with its pretty harbour, has a number of outdoor cafes and restaurants, and is a short drive, or a hearty walk, away.
