Outside: Porch with table and chairs. Garden. Shared swimming pool. This is part of a large house converted into three separate properties. AS042 El Malvís is to the back of this property.
Beautiful cottage and location, it has been finished to a high standard and was extremely comfortable. Loved Asturias. Enjoyed your suggestions of where to go. Would definitely consider this part of Spain again: just our cup of tea. Mari Paz and Javier were really welcoming and made us feel so at home. This was an extremely happy holiday. It had so much to see and do and plenty to offer all ages groups. We'll be back. D McDermott
In the heart of the cider-making district, El Ferre has the benefits of a quiet village setting and a shared swimming pool.
El Ferre is one of three properties that have been created from the beautiful conversion of an 18th century farmhouse. The property has been carefully renovated using simple but stylish decoration, with wooden ceilings throughout. The ground floor consists of a comfortable open-plan kitchen and living area. Upstairs, there are two attractive bedrooms with views over the village.
Outside there is a terrace looking across the garden. The swimming pool, shared between three properties, lies at the foot of a path down from the house. There's a car park and also a shared utility room.
El Ferre sits at the top end of the village of Pruneda, 3km from the small historic market town of Nava, which is good for shops, restaurants and cafes. It's also home to the Cider Museum and a lively cider festival in July. There is also a restaurant in Pruneda itself.
The surroundings are green and hilly - just south of Nava is a range of beautiful sierras for walking. The motorway is easily accessible which makes getting around Asturias very easy. The beach at Rodiles is about a 25-minute drive, and the city of Oviedo just 15 minutes away.
