This charming property, perched high on the hillside, has stunning views across a valley - a peaceful setting for a relaxing break.
Casa Barru lies above the small traditional village of Villa. It has two gardens from which to enjoy the views of the beautiful Caldueño valley and the Sierra del Cuera mountains beyond. Inside, the decor is simple and tasteful and each bedroom has sloping wooden ceilings. Downstairs there's a comfortable open-plan area with doors to the front and back gardens - two excellent places to enjoy the Asturian scenery over an early morning coffee or a relaxing evening drink, with only the tinkle of cow bells for company.
Villa is in a convenient location halfway between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's a 15-minute drive to the coast, with four or five good beaches to choose from. The pretty harbour town of Llanes is about half an hour away. There are good restaurants a five-minute drive from the house.
