Spacious, very comfortable and tranquil, and with good views across to the mountains, Casa Alipio is a perfect retreat for those looking to be near Llanes and the beaches whilst being within easy reach of the mountains.

Excellently situated in Pancar, a small village just outside the fishing town of Llanes, Casa Alipio is a new house built in the style of a traditional Asturian villa. The house has plenty of space and there is a real sense of attention to detail in the way it has been designed, decorated and furnished. Downstairs there's a large open-plan living/dining room with French doors to a west-facing terrace for enjoying the setting sun in the evening. And on the other side of the house, the kitchen opens out to a terrace for those sunny morning breakfasts! Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, two doubles with mountain views and two twins. Outside, as well as the two terraces, there is a large, safe, enclosed garden. There is also garage space for three cars.

The village of Pancar has two good bar-restaurants and there are plenty more in Llanes, a 20-minute walk away along a paved path by the river. The nearest beaches are at Llanes although there are a number of pretty beaches within a ten-minute drive. Driving inland takes you up into mountains remarkably quickly - reaching right up to Arenas, the gateway to the Picos de Europa, in about 40 minutes.

The owner, Rogelio, knows the area very well and speaks excellent English. He can also provide information on local activities and events.
