Testimonials

Just wanted to say thank you very much for the lovely holiday we enjoyed at El Molin. The house was perfect, and the children loved all the animals. I even enjoyed hanging out the washing, with the beautiful mountains all around, and eagles soaring overhead. Ana and her family were all very hospitable, and we had a wonderful time. We have come home laden with cheese! Thanks again for your advise. We hope to return to Spain again very soon. K Rollings

Loved by those who have stayed here, this friendly working farm provides a great base for a versatile and relaxing holiday in very congenial surroundings.

This restored 19th century farm is a haven of peace, with only the tinkle of sheep's bells by day and the crickets by night. The owners, Juan Antonio and Ana are informative on local places to visit and Asturian culture and, above all, are warm and friendly. They are happy to leave you to your own devices or be as hospitable as you wish! Ana and her son Tito make their own (very tasty) cow's and goat's cheese. With a horse, sheep, goats, cows, hens and a friendly Labrador all on the farm, children will have a lot to keep them entertained during their stay.

It's a lovely walk through eucalyptus trees to the San Antolin beach and a short car ride to four or five other beautiful beaches. The picturesque port of Llanes with its harbour cafes and Romanesque churches is a 20-minute drive away. After a day out at the beach or visiting the nearby spectacular Picos de Europa mountain range you can relax on a sunbed in the garden behind the house listening to the brook that runs nearby.

The house itself is very comfortable and well-equipped and has been restored retaining many of its original features. The double bedroom has a large window over the farmyard to the front, while the other two bedrooms look across to the river and the coast. There's a garden to the back of the house, with sun loungers, tables and chairs. There's also a play area with swings and a see-saw, which is shared with the other property (AS034 El Molín Pequeño).

This property has been awarded 3 "trisqueles", the highest rating assigned by the regional tourist board.
