Testimonials
House was really well equipped. Asturias is beautiful. Mari Paz and Jose were fantastic - Mari even baked us a cake! Beaches are amazing. K Upton
Situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in Asturias, Caserío San Pedro II is a recently built house with four large en suite bedrooms. It is in full view of the Sierra del Cuera mountains and yet only 10 km from the coast and some of Asturias' best beaches.
Caserio San Pedro II is a large, comfortable house converted from old stables. On the ground floor there's a spacious kitchen/dining room and a living room with fireplace. There's also a double bedroom with an en suite shower room, as well as a further toilet. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor and all have en suite shower rooms. A double and a twin bedroom open out onto the balcony where there are fantastic views across the valley to the mountains, while another double bedroom opens out to the fields at the back of the property.
There's a large garden to the front and sides of the house. There are two covered porches: one at the front of the house with tables and chairs for enjoying the views during mealtimes, the other a larger porch to the side of the house with a barbecue and more tables and chairs. A baker comes every morning at 8.30 with bread, croissants, newspapers, etc. and one of the area's best restaurants, El Sucón, is just a kilometre away near the small village of Debodes.
The proprietors, Mari Paz and Jose, live on the grounds of the farm. They have chickens, as well as apple, pear and cherry trees. The farm makes a great base for an invigorating family holiday with a short drive leading to either beach activities or mountain walks. But the Caserio de San Pedro can equally be enjoyed as a special retreat for those wishing to relax to the gentle sound of cowbells and the views across the Sierra. The small buzzing fishing town of Llanes is nearby for those in search of livelier evenings.
